You’re Not Stuck — You’ve Just Outgrown Your Old Self

Maybe the reason you don’t realize how well you’re doing… is because you keep raising the bar.

Every time you grow, you normalize it. Every time you move forward, you make it the baseline.

So of course it feels like nothing’s changing—you’ve turned your evolution into your expectation.

And then the mind comes in…telling you you’re behind, you’re not there yet, you should be further along by now.

But here’s the deeper truth—it’s not just your mind.

Maybe the reason it feels like you’re not getting anywhere…is because your body has already integrated what your mind is still questioning.

You’ve changed.

But it didn’t happen all at once. It happened gradually—layer by layer, choice by choice.

So you didn’t mark the moment it shifted. You just became it.

And now it feels… normal.

But “normal” for you now is something past-you once prayed for, worked for,or didn’t even believe was possible.

So let me ask you something—be honest:

Would you actually trade places with who you were a year ago?

Not the highlight reel version. The real version. The one who was still tolerating things you’ve now outgrown. The one who hadn’t had the realizations you’ve had.The one who didn’t yet have the capacity you hold now.

Would your nervous system choose that?Would your awareness choose that?Would your self-trust choose that?

No.

You wouldn’t.

And that right there is your answer.

You’re not stuck. You’ve just adapted to your own expansion.

You’ve made your growth invisible to yourself because you expect it to be your starting point now.

So stop moving the goalpost for a second.

Stand where you are.Look back—honestly. Not through pressure. Not through judgment. Just truth.

And let it land.

You’ve done hard things. You’ve faced things you used to avoid. You’ve changed in ways no one else may fully see—but you feel it.

You don’t react the same. You don’t stay the same. You don’t abandon yourself the same.

That’s progress.

That counts.

More than you’ve been giving it credit for.

You don’t need to inflate your progress…but you do need to stop minimizing it.

So no—this isn’t about forcing pride. It’s about allowing recognition.

Pausing long enough to feel where you are.Noticing what’s different.Letting your body catch up to what your life already reflects.

Because even if things aren’t perfect—which they never are...

you’re not who you were.

And that matters.

More than you think.

Love Notes From The CASS-Kicked Collective

"First of all Cass! For leading us all to healing and strength...... I cannot thank you enough! You have no idea the gift you have given me in giving myself this strength and trust!!!! Fierce!!!!!!!
To my sisters who broke boards and walked fire with me...... thank you for trusting me enough to walk over fire with me, and trusting yourself! I am honoured to have gone through this with you!
Also my sisters thank you for pushing me to go first and, in a sense, lead you through the board breaking and fire walking. I don't have that trust and confidence in myself but you pushed me to take that on.
I appreciate each of you and will never forget the gifts you have given me!"
